The Arboretum Explorer: The Arboretum Explorer is a database that shows the location of trees and woody plants as well as memorial benches and other features of The Arboretum. You can search for species by common or scientific name or look up a tree you don’t recognize by searching the map.

Signs & Maps: Signs and maps throughout The Arboretum provide information about thephysiographic regions of Kentucky. Signs are posted roughly a quarter mile between each other and mark the boundaries between different physiographic regions displayed in The Arboretum.

Soil Display: A Soil Display in the Dorotha Smith-Oatts Visitor Center offers an interactive look at the different soils found throughout Kentucky. Visitors can match descriptions to core samples and see how many they get right.
