For Kids and Families:
Grab the kids and come out to enjoy everything from self-directed Backpacktivities and Scavenger Hunts to summer’s Children in the Dell Saturday mornings, and even a family picnic from our on-site café.
For Budding and Experienced Gardeners:
Seasonal plant walks, hands on workshops, lectures and more, Yew Dell is the place to level up your gardening knowledge throughout the year.
Festivals and Community Events:
Annual plant sale in spring, music events all summer, Boo Dell for Halloween, and Yuletide at holiday time provide season long entertainment for the whole family while unmatched rental facilities provide for stunning wedding, corporate and special event rentals throughout the year.
Other Educational Resources:
Backpack Rental: Check out an activities backpack from the Visitor Center, and learn all about Pollinators and the Arboretum, which we call a Tree Museum. Each backpack comes with a fun and educational set of activities that will have the whole family learning in the gardens. Availability varies by season; ask for details in the Visitor Center.
